Summary note:
This project aims to build a drone capable of holding its altitude above the ground autonomously, avoiding large obstacles and storing WiFi RSSI measurements at different location points which can be used to create map-based WiFi coverage visualizations through Python and Google Maps API. The WiFi coverage for ’puwireless’ is mapped for the lawn between Friend Center and Sherrerd Hall at Princeton University, and the signal strength is found to be far stronger closer to the Computer Science building, than over the rest of the lawn.
