    Summary note
Born in 1957 in Mexico City, Flor Garduño, whose teachers were Kati Horna and Manuel Álvarez Bravo, is an exemplary representative of the richness of photography of Mexican origin. After revealing her powerful vision of the native culture, its practices and its rituals, Flor Garduño develops her own style, explores the profound reality of the Mexican rural scene and their culture, the still life technique, studies the female nude and develops a more intimate approach to photography. It thus prolongs a work that reveals an exceptional poetic dimension.
