Exhibition of the La Quinta de Los Libertadores exhibition developed since 2012 contributing to the mission of the museum: to bring art, architecture and history to the public through the house where the generals José de San Martín and Simón Bolívar lived. The catalogue brings together essays and images of cultural assets used in the renewed permanent exhibition bearing the same name as the document. Thus, the presentation will include the comments of the renowned historians Dr. José de la Puente Brunke and Dr. Cristóbal Aljovín de Losada, in addition to the art historian Dra. (C) Mónica Solórzano Gonzales. It is made up of two parts. The first brings together nine articles from national and Latin American researchers. Peruvian specialists developed themes such as the importance of the property of the Quinta de los Libertadores or Palacio de la Magdalena by Úrsula Ludowieg, Scarlett O'Phelan Godoy about the material life of Simón Bolívar through the inventory of furniture left in 1826, Patricio Alvarado Luna on the political-military discrepancies between Viceroy Joaquin de la Pezuela and General José de La Serna, Carlos Buller talks about the Gran Colombia project, while Susy Sánchez focuses on the food and epidemics faced by patriotic troops During the contests, and Elizabeth Hernández García in social life in Lima during the war. On the other hand, there is the academic contribution of foreign researchers such as Pablo Ortemberg (Argentina) who writes about the symbology and transitional rituals during the period of independence promoted by San Martín, Jaime Rodríguez Ordoñez (Ecuador) on the course he took The interview of Guayaquil through the profiles of San Martín and Bolívar, and finally Inés Quintero (Venezuela) addresses the political-military efforts of Sucre and Bolivar in Peru. In the second part have been cataloged images of the pieces used in the museography of the exhibition 'La Quinta de Los Libertadores', accompanied by a descriptive and historical context.
