- Summary note
- Monography that rescues the important art legacy of scarcely known painter and landscape artist Ruben Sarralde (Montevideo 1921-2003), covering his artistic production from 1946 until his death in 2003, Sarralde was part of the Taller Torres Garcia although he later evolved to create his own style. His art legacy is vast and comprises more than 600 works of art. Oils, acrylics, graphs, watercolors, papers, fabrics, cardboard, wood, murals, collages were used as support with the same master skill, and when he didn't have any of these in hand, he painted on material already used, the important thing was the permanent creation.ʺ (HKB Translation)--Page 9.
