Summary note
This exhibition focuses on production that abstract artist Kazuya Sakai (b. Argentina 1927-2001) created while in Mexico, particularly the "Ondulaciones" (Ripples) series. Sakai moved in 1965 to Mexico and in 1977 he moved to Dallas, TX where he lived till his death in 2001. The catalogue is divided into two parts: one with critical texts and the biography of Sakai and a second volume with color reproductions of his work.
Notes
Second volume folded accordion style, bound together with purple color boards. Both volumes hold together with paper belly band.
Published on the occasion of the exhibition held at the Museo de Arte Moderno, October 5, 2016-March 12, 2017.
