  • Vol. 1 goes through Esther; v. 2 begins with Job, and ends with the Apocrypha.
  • Title page in v. 1 only; printer's device on t.p., with figure that has arms upraised, with the sun in the left hand, and the cup in the right hand; the motto begins at the top of the right side.
  • Identified in Darlow & Moule as the second (Variant B) of three versions with this imprint. All versions use the same sheets for the text, but have the t.p. and preface reset. This version has an error in the Greek title, and the printer's device is one known to be used in the 1680's by John Hayes, successor to John Field as Cambridge University printer. 1684 is a date suggested in Darlow & Moule.
