  • Three states of this imprint have been identified in Darlow & Moule. This is believed to be Field's own original edition, a second version was issued using the same sheets, but with the t.p. and preface reset, using a printer's device known to have been used by John Hayes in the 1680's. A third version also uses the same sheets, with preface and t.p. reset, with a device like that of the Wechel Press, and is believed to be issued by a continental printer.
