"A Bible history with moralizing interpretations and numerous illustrations, on a style suggestive of stained glass windows, by artists of the Paris school of the mid thirteenth century. This is one of a set of four volumes, the others being in London (two) and Paris respectively. All of these have been published in facsimile by the Comte A. de Laborde. This volume was given to the Bodleian in 1604 (MS. Bodl. 270B) and contains 1,785 miniatures on 450 pages."
