Summary note
The field of polymer colloids is a particularly fertile one with interest changing from natural latex to a wide variety of synthetic latices reflecting the use of these materials in an increasingly large number of novel applications.
This timely book examines polymer colloids with chapters ranging from the preparation and properties of conducting particles, to composite and swellable particles. The latest research concerning proteins, polymers, polyelectrolytes and surfactants which interact strongly with the surface of polymer latex particles is presented, along with recent developments in the use of latices.
