Summary note
Catalogue of the exhibition with works by Jorge Tacla (Chile, 1958; resides in New York for more than 30 years). The works on display belong to three different series: Escombros', 'Sign of abandonment' and 'Hidden identities.' (Three works from the Solari del Sol art collection, one from Jorge Arancibia's collection and the others from Tacla Studio and Cristin Tierney Gallery). "There is an image that remains in the way Jorge Tacla paints landscapes in destruction. Sometimes it can be perfectly hidden, but it refers in different dimensions to a decisive moment of his stay in the Atacama Desert in 1989, when he traveled to Chile promoted by the Guggenheim Fellowship." (HKB Translation) --Page [9]
