Summary note
The original myth of Adam and Eve and their banishment from paradise is an integral part of western culture and has been received in various ways in literature, film, theater and art. The medieval author Lutwin not only transfers the myth into the still young literary language of German, but also links it to a love discourse and shows the protagonists important basic questions of human life. Sabine Griese works out possibilities and chapters of literature on Ludwig's text.
