Summary note
Momotaro (of the traditional children's story) returns in an updated incarnation to lead paratroopers of the Imperial Japanese Navy as they fight battles in the later years of World War II. This full length feature is considered a classic of Japanese animation.
In the cartoon short "Kumo to chūrippu" a spider tries to entice a ladybug into his web. She takes refuge in a tulip and the spider angrily covers it with webbing. After a heavy rain storm washes the spider away, a friendly bee removes the webbing from the tulip and frees the ladybug. Based on a story by Yokoyama Michiko.
