  • 本书以近年来明词以及明代词学文献整理为基础, 采用统计定量的方法, 结合文本细读, 对明词的相关问题进行定性, 从宏观的角度勾勒明词的发展格局. 研究理念上不拘于词的传统意识, 采取"词在明代"以及"明代的词"这种普遍与特殊相结合的思路, 既照应前后朝代的历史传承, 也显现了词在明代的独特图像. 编撰体例上采用中观的词坛视角, 以层面和专题为面, 以词人为点, 以面带点, 力图从整体上审视明词. 本书对明词研究范围有诸多拓展, 首次对皇族词, 复古派词, 女性词, 边塞词, 忠烈词等作了专题考察, 对明词的特色, 价值以及演变等提出了较多新见.
