• One of at least two variations of "McLoughlin Brothers 81st Annual Catalogue" (another comprised of 97 pages, 7 unnumbered pages, 4 unnumbered pages, also held by Cotsen Library); this version includes a catalog of Games on pages 98-160 (unlike the other version, which does not); this variation may be a special printing version, made for McLoughlin Bros.' corporate offices, rather than distribution to booksellers.
• Includes page listing "German editions" (page 48).
• Catalog of "Games" on pages 98-160.
• Price list for "lead or 'tin' soldiers" on page 160, below the last game, "Drawing Made Easy."
• Price list of flags (featuring Irish flags) on page [162] and "price list of books, etc. arranged according to number" on pages [163-164].
• Index on pages [165-168] (a page longer than that in other, shorter version of catalog).
• Lacks pages 48-52 (Paper Dolls, Soldiers, and Animals in another variation of this 1909 catalog), as well as "Special notice: Pictures for framing and advertising purposes...", but this appears to be as originally issued.
• Cotsen copy: "1909" penciled in on upper wrapper, apparently by McLoughlin Bros. corporate offices.

Publisher's off-white pictorial wrappers, color-printed upper medallion portrait of Mother Goose and decorative title in red, blue, and gold, lower wrapper with illustration of McLoughlin's Williamsburg production plant, captioned "Works in Brooklyn, South 11th & Berry Streets."
