Similarly, physics, math and engineering students have little patience for the detailed facts that make up much of biological knowledge. Teaching computational neuroscience as an integrated discipline requires that both groups be brought forward onto common ground. This book does this by making ancillary material available in an appendix and providing basic explanations without becoming bogged down in unnecessary details. The book will be suitable for undergraduates and beginning graduate students taking a computational neuroscience course and also to anyone with an interest in the uses of the computer in modeling the nervous system. 588 0 Print version record. 650 0 Computational neuroscience. |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh97006370 650 7 Computational neuroscience. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00872004 730 0 Springer book archives. 776 08 |iPrint version:Lytton, William W. |tFrom computer to brain. |dNew York : Springer, ©2002 |w(DLC) 2002070819 902 jwl |bz |6a |7m |dw |f0 |e20160505
