An alphabet book, consisting of a text (which contains background information on the design of the letters and of the book) and twice folded plates, printed litho on both sides and incorporated into the binding. The freely drawn capital letters and numerals overlap each other, producing 'a complex decorative mosaic of related shapes' - p.[1]. The printed cover is similarly decorated.
