"Since her mother is a sorceress, Su-hi's scheduled marriage ends in separation. Her fiance Jung-ho, a med student, is a Catholic and troubled by his mother's objections. Su-hi gets over Jung-ho and meets frequently with Ki-sub. She also models for the artist Lee Young-hu, who is the husband of Jung-ho's aunt. One day, Jung-ho stabs Young-hu after witnessing him making love to Su-hi. With this, Su-hi suffers a mental breakdown and is admitted to the hospital. Su-hi's mother bids her daughter happiness and then kills herself. At this time, Su-hi regains her senses. She leaves to pray to the ocean god. Jung-ho is released from jail. He goes to see Su-hi on the coast but calmly turns around and leaves when he cannot find her."--Korean Movie Database (KMDb).
