"Sin-ae works at a woman accessories shop. When she needs money for her daughter, Ji-yeon's hospital bills, Sin-ae goes looking for her old boyfriend from ten years ago, Kyung-hwan. Kyung-hwan has a tedious marriage with his wife Hye-sun. While helping Sin-ae out, they reconfirm their feelings for each other. Around this time, Kyung-hwan witnesses Hye-sun's deviance. Sin-ae's husband realizes his wife's heart is elsewhere so he decides to immigrate. But Sin-ae decides to follow her husband. Kyung-hwan finds out from Sin-ae that Ji-yeon is his daughter. Sin-ae and Kyung-hwan engage in a passionate affair. Kyung-hwan decides to divorce his wife. Finally, Sin-ae's husband leaves for America taking only their son.
