"Koryo's founding king, Tae-jo Wang-keon, wants his people to embrace benevolence through Buddhism. He sends three men to China to get the Scripture. The three acquire the Scripture but Shin-ta tries to use the Scripture to create a religious nation. He kills Lee Eung-bong but Hwang Bo-young takes the Scripture and runs away. Shin-ta blames everything on Bo-young and commits a massacre. After ten years, Hyun-wu, the son of Eung-bong, sets out to avenge his father against Bo-young. After hearing the truth from Bo-young, Hyun-wu goes to punish Shin-ta. He beats Shin-ta's men and enters the cave but Shin-ta is already dead.
