The first edition of the Old Testament in Spanish, known as the "Ferrara Bible", and intended mainly for Spanish-speaking Jews.--Darlow and Moule 8467.
Dedication addressed to the Duke of Ferrara and signed: Jerónimo de Vargas y Duarte Pinel.
Colophon: ... con yndustria y deligencia de Abraham usque [i.e. Duarte Pinel] Portugues: estampada in Ferrara a costa y despesa de Yom Tob atias [i.e. Jerónimo de Vargas] Español en 14 de Adar de 5313.
