Summary note
Electronic reproduction of material arising from Mass-Observation's surveys of 1939, 1946-1947 and 1951 on attitudes to Jews in the light of contemporary world events. The 1939 survey was a general one of London's East End but it generated a substantial amount of information about attitudes to the plight of European Jews and to those living in Britain. The Anti-Semitism and Attitudes to Palestine surveys of 1946-1947 are linked with Jewish resettlement. The Mass Observation collection as a whole includes ephemera on Jewish culture and reactions towards it.
