Stiffened parchment wrapper (17th century?), with paper lining over which modern parchment endleaves have been pasted. The wrapper might have been reused from another manuscript. The wrapper had two green silk endties (one partially preserved) at the fore-edge. 561 Unknown early provenance. Wrapper has arms similar to those of some members of the Medici family of Florence. Inscription relating to Jacobo Antonio Pennetti. Grenville Kane purchased the manuscript in 1921, possibly from Davis and Orioli. The Kane Collection was acquired by the Princeton University Library from Kane's heirs in February 1946. |5NjP 510 4 Medieval & Renaissance manuscripts in the Princeton University Library, |cvolume 2, pages 125-126. |uhttp://arks.princeton.edu/ark:/88435/dc4j03db09z 530 Also available in an electronic version. 651 0 Mediterranean Sea |vMaps |vEarly works to 1800. 650 0 Manuscripts, Medieval |zSpain. |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85080744 650 0 Manuscripts, Medieval |zNew Jersey |zPrinceton. |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/subjects/sh85080744 650 7 Manuscripts, Medieval. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01008422 651 7 New Jersey |zPrinceton. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01204939 651 7 Spain. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01204303 655 7 Early works. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01411636 655 7 Manuscript maps. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01752677 655 7 Maps. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01423704 655 7 Portolan charts. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01752683 655 7 Portolan charts. |2lcgft |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026462 |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026462 655 7 Manuscript maps. |2lcgft |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026385 |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026385 655 7 Maps. |2lcgft |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026387 |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/genreForms/gf2011026387 655 7 Parchment (Paper) |2rbpap 655 7 Ties (Binding) |2rbbin 700 1 Kane, Grenville, |d1854-1943, |eformer owner. |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2001073978 |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/no2001073978 |0(uri) http://viaf.org/viaf/sourceID/LC%7cno2001073978 700 1 Oliva, Joannes, |dactive 1589-1650, |eattributed name. |0http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n82014057 |0(uri) http://id.loc.gov/authorities/names/n82014057 |0(uri) http://viaf.org/viaf/sourceID/LC%7cn82014057 710 2 Davis & Orioli (Firm), |ebookseller. 710 2 Princeton University. |bLibrary. |kManuscript. |nKane MS. 57. 752 Spain. 752 Italy. 856 41 |uhttp://arks.princeton.edu/ark:/88435/4t64gp57j 902 yw |bo |6f |7m |dv |f1 |e20190607 948 |hHELD BY PUL - 0 OTHER HOLDINGS 994 Z0 |bPUL
