Summary note
  • Five marines: During the Korean War, five marines are selected for a mission in enemy territory. They carry out the mission successfully, but four of the five are killed before they can return.
  • The barefooted young: A gangster and a diplomat's daughter face family opposition to their unlikely romance.
  • North and South: A North Korean captain surrenders to a Southern division in hopes that he can locate his wife, who was separated from him in the midst of war. The commander of the Southern division realizes that the captain's lost wife is now married to him. He agonizes over the situation and finally decides to yield to the captain, volunteering for an assignment in a suicide squad.
  • Horse-year bride: A comedy about the social prejudice against females born in the Year of the Horse during the 1960s.
