Includes multiple excerpts, among them a fragment from the ʻIqd al-farīd by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd Rabbih, ibn Qutaybah's refutation in the Kitāb Tafḍīl al-ʻarab, and fragments from the Dāʼir al-maʻārif by Muḥammad Farīd Wajdī on different Muslim sects and the inimitability of the Qur'an.
