Physical description, text 1: 182 x 109 mm; 10 lines per page; written in neat naskh in black on grayish-tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; vocalized. Foliated in Arabic script. Leaves 24-25, 31-34 are replacements in nastaʻliq. Borders ink-stained; mild marginal damp staining and insect damage.
Physical description, texts 2-4: 164 x 94 mm; 10 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan, laid European paper. Script changes into taʻliq or shikastah on a few leaves. Catchwords; first leaf stained.
Origin: Text 1 is likely early 19th century. Text 2 dated 1 September 1902, with the copyist's name in the form of a bird (leaf 42b).

4. 147W, leaves 40a-42b: Risālah-i ṣad pand / Luqmān the Sage. 100 maxims of Luqmān given to his son; in the Moghadam catalogue the India Office reference is to the Zoroastrian Ṣad dar.
