• Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq with elements of shikastah in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Quotations and notes by different hands. Rubrication and catchwords. Text block has been trimmed. Leaf 30 belongs after leaf 27. Extensive damp staining, but text still legible; a few paper repairs.
• Origin: Text 2 dated 161 H [1161? = 1748], by Shāh Muḥammad ibn Mullā ʻĀlim ibn Sulṭān Muḥammad S̲amarqandī (leaf 29b); text 4 likely copied around the same time by the same scribe.
• Incipit (text 2): بعد از تزىىن مفارق شهرىاران عرصۀ کلام بزىنت تاج موفور الابتهاج محامد ملک علام
• Explicit (text 4): و در ... [؟] او احتىاج بتحرىک هر دو دست نمىشود بخلاف دست راست و الله اعلم بالصواب و الله المرجع و المآب
