On cover: Label reading "Sharḥ-i Shamāʼil-i Tirmiz̲ī manẓūm-i Fārsī / ḥadīs̲" in Arabic script.
Layout: 13-15 lines per page in one or two columns.
Description: Written in neat nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; Arabic texts in vocalized naskh. Mild staining and insect damage. Borders added along tops and sides of the second work to make the pages larger.
Origin: According to Moghadam, likely from the 17th century. Texts 1, 3 copied by ʻAbd Allāh ibn ʻAbd al-Laṭīf (leaf 257a).

1. leaves 1b-230b: Naẓm al-Shamāʼil / Muḥammad ibn ʻĪsá al-Tirmidhī. Persian translation in verse of the Shamāʼil al-Nabī, a collection of ḥadīths on the life and character of the Prophet Muḥammad. Translated by Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn Bāqir Ḥāfiẓ Haravī (leaves 4a, 230a) and dedicated to Emperor Jalāl al-Dīn Akbar [reigned 1556-1605] (leaf 4b). The translator had previously translated the Shamāʼil into Persian prose with the title al-Khaṣāʼil (leaf 4b).
2. leaves 232b-238a: Subḥat al-ālī. A collection of 100 short ḥadīths with translation into Persian verse; the compiler/translator describes himself as "al-ʻabd al-ḍaʻīf al-niẓām al-rājī min al-nabī wa-ālihi wa-ṣaḥbihi ..." (leaf 233a).
3. leaves 240b-257a: [Prayer through the Prophet and the Muhājirūn]. In Arabic.
