Reviews H.R. 3590, the ADA Notification Act, to amend title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to prohibit disabled individuals from bringing lawsuits against businesses to compel compliance with ADA public access requirements without first providing notice of the alleged violation and providing the defendant with a 90-day period to take corrective action. Provides overview of Department of Justice views on H.R. 3590 and hearing testimony in favor of and in opposition to H.R. 3590.
