Ms. erroneously identified on the front cover as Jawharat al-tafsīr [i.e. Javāhir al-tafsīr], which is a larger commentary by Kāshifī that was never completed (Storey, I, 12).
Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in naskh by two hands in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Hand switches on fol. 60a; text framed in double red lines from this point to end of ms. Rubrication and catchwords. Some staining; ragged edges; mild insect damage. Fol. 1-9 detached and particularly ragged.
