Physical description: 29 lines per page; written in small nastaʻliq in black on machine-made paper. Text framed in double blue lines. Rubrication and catchwords. Light staining. In excellent condition.
Decoration: On fol. 1b, well-executed illuminated ʻunwān in gold and colors; besmele set within gold lozenge. Text framed in thick gold line on fol. 1b-2a.
Origin: 5 Rajab 1263 H [19 June 1847], by Selman Nureddin bin Musa in Istanbul (fol. 565b).
Incipit: علماى اولى الابصار ذوى الاستبصار معلومدر که من تارىخ شول فن معتبر درکه
Binding note
Three-quarter leather with black embossed paper paper covers; gold stamped fillets; gold-sprinkled green paper flyleaves and pastedowns. Flap missing.
