Turkish commentary on Imāmʹzādah's Shirʻat al-Islām, a treatise on Ḥanafī law. The text is preceded by a table of contents on fol. 1a and is incomplete at the end.

Physical description: 31 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Text on fol. 1b-20b framed in red. Rubrication and catchwords; original text overlined in red. A few marginal notes. Foliated in Arabic script (some numbers skipped). Extensive damp staining; mild insect damage. Repairs to fol. 33-34 have resulted in some loss of text.

Binding note
Quarter leather with flap; green cloth covers over boards; blind-stamped fillets; brown paper flyleaves and pastedowns.
