On front cover, label reading "46" in Western script.
Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on the 4th leaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
Physical description: 15 lines per page; written in neat naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Diagrams in red. Mild damp staining, particularly along upper edge. On some leaves the paper has split along the text frame. In good condition.
Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān in gold, pale blue, and red on fol. 1b, red and blue somewhat worn away; text framed in gold.
Origin: 1170 H [1756 or 7] (fol. 45b).
Incipit: الحمد لله الذي جعل ظاهر الانسان عنوان الباطن في الوجود
Binding note
Contemporary full brown leather with flap; gold-stamped central mandorla and pendants and blind-tooled fillets.
