    Summary note
    An unidentified Persian commentary on the Qurʼān, from 2:26-18:29. Scribe is the same as the one for New Series no. 1753q.
    Notes
    • Ms. codex.
    • On spine: Label reading "18 Tafsir" in Western script.
    • Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on the second leaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
    • Physical description: 31 lines per page; written in naskh in black on unglazed, laid Arabic paper. Catchwords. Qurʼānic verses in large script. Some paper repairs, mainly marginal, particularly to leaves at beginning and end of ms. Some damp staining, particularly to fol. 1-4 where the damage has caused some loss of text. Fol. 1 ragged and crumpled at inner margin.
