On front cover: Label reading "740 Kimia Saadat. Persian mss. All vols." in Western script.
Physical description: 23 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in gold. Rubrication and catchwords. Some damp staining, mostly marginal; last few leaves mildewed. In good condition.
Decoration: On fol. 1b, illuminated ʻunwān in gold and color, with basmalah in cartouche. On fol. 1b-2a , margins decorated with gold floral pattern and text framed in red and gold.
Incipit: شكر و سپاس و ستايش فراوان بعدد ستارگان آسمان و ... اما بعد بدآنكه آدمي را به هرزه و ببازي نيافريده اند بلكه كار وي عظيم است و خطر وي بزرگ
Binding note
Full brown leather with gold-stamped central cross and fillets; marbled paper doublures.
