A translation of al-Khaṭīb al-Tibrīzī's Mishkāt al-Maṣābīḥ, a commentary on and expansion of al-Baghawī's hadith collection, Maṣābīḥ al-sunnah; this volume consists of kitāb al-buyūʻ - kitāb al-ruʾyā. Missing a few leaves at end.

On fol. 1a: "Jild-i siyum ... Shaykh ʻAbd al-Ḥaqq Dihlavī."
Physical description: 21 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on unglazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Original text overlined in red. Foliated in Arabic script. Edges flecked with red ink. Extensive insect damage, damp staining, and paper repairs; a number of leaves are detached. There is very little loss of text, but ms. as a whole is in poor condition.
