Summary note
Treatise on letter writing which is an abridgment of the author's Makhzan al-inshāʼ. According to the preface, it consists of an ʻunwān, three ṣaḥifah, and a khātimah; this copy is complete through ṣaḥīfah 2.

On spine: Label reading "13" in Arabic script.
Physical description: 28 lines per page; written in neat naskh in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Extensive staining and marginal paper repairs; mild insect damage. A few leaves are detached.
Origin: 1 Rabīʻ II 917 H [28 June 1511] (fol. 88b).
