A collection of short texts on various types of divination, as well as a couple of texts on religious matters and some prescriptions. Descriptive titles are listed in a table of contents on fol. 1b; only text 16 is accompanied by an actual title and author.

  • Ms. codex.
  • Physical description: 19 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Text framed in red. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. With charts. Foliated in Arabic script. Some staining; edges ragged and a few leaves torn.
  • Origin: 15 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1181 H [3 May 1768], Halil bin Hasan Hoca (fol. 122a).
Binding note
Originally full brown leather with gold-stamped mandorla; leather is mostly worn away and underlying paper has been laquered.
