• Physical description: 8 lines per page; written in large, calligraphic nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Light staining; in excellent condition.
• Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān in gold and color on fol. 1b; title in red set within cartouche. Text set within cloud-bands on gold ground; framed in blue, gold, and red lines and gold arabasque, with outer marginal gold border.
• Origin: 1271 H [1854 or 5], ʻAbd al-Ghaffār (fol. 21b).
• Incipit: الهى اين چه فضلست که با دوستان خود کرده که هر که ايشانرا شناخت ترا ىافت

Binding note

Limp brown leather with blind-stamped fillets; teal leather doublures which are folded to the outside to frame the covers.
