• Physical description: 22-26 lines per page; written in small naskh in black on tan glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Insert. Some damp staining, heavier towards beginning and end of ms. Edges ragged and crumbled away due to water damage.
• Origin: Texts 1-2, 26 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1280 H [3 May 1864] in Ārān, a village near the city of Kāshān, by Kalb ʻAlī mashhūr bih Mīrzā Bābā-yi Shīrāzī (fol. 35b). Text 3 likely by the same hand.
