An incomplete copy of the works of Saʻdī, containing the Bustān, ghazals, and the Gulistān.

• Physical description: 16 lines per page, in 2-3 columns; written in nastaʻliq in black on glazed, laid European paper. Outer column wraps around inner 1-2 columns. Text on fol. 67a-151a framed in red. Rubrication and catchwords. Lacuna after fol. 129 marks a new set of ghazals. Extensive damp staining and some smudging; last folio partially torn away. In fair condition.

Binding note

Full brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets; blue paper doublures.
