Physical description: Texts 1-3, 12 lines per page, written in naskh; texts 4-6, 8-11 lines per page, written in shikastah. Machine-made paper. Rubrication and catchwords; marginal notes in text 6. Fol. 14a-16b, 43a, 80 blank. Some foxing, light staining. In good condition.
Origin: Text 2, 6 Jumādá I 1267 H [9 March 1851] (fol. 12a). Text 3, 14 Jumādá I 12[6]7 H [17 March 1851] (fol. 13a). Text 4, 9 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1269 H [12 September 1853], by Muḥammad Ḥusayn ibn Mashhadī ʻAlī Muḥammad Tājir Tabrīzī (fol. 41a). Text 6, 9 Rabīʻ I 1270 H [10 December 1853], by the same scribe (fol. 79a).
Incipit (text 1, after intro.): النوع الاول حروف تجر الاسم فقط وهي تسعة عشر حرفا البا ومن والى وفي واللام ورب وواو رب وعن وعلى والكاف ومذ ومنذ وحتى وواو القسم وباء القسم وتاء القسم وحاشا وعدا وخلا
Incipit (text 2, after intro.): النوع الاول حروف تجر الاسم فقط وهي تسعة عشر حرفا الباء للالصاق حقيقة نحو به داء ومجازا نحو مررت بزيد اي بمكان قريب من الزيد
