    Translation into Persian by Ḥusayn ibn Asʻad al-Dahastānī of al-Tanūkhī's collection of stories illustrating deeds of salvation from difficult situations. This copy is incomplete at the end.

    • Physical description: 18 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black on tan glazed, laid Arabic paper. Text framed in blue and gold; only about one-third of the illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b is still intact. Rubrication and catchwords. Fol. 1 in poor condition: missing parts of the page and pasted to the inner front cover. Numerous paper repairs, particularly to beginning and end of ms., resulting in loss of text on a few pages. Fol. 2-61 almost completely detached; fol. 62-63 detached. Margins are damp stained and mildewed, but text area is in good condition.

    Full brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla and pendants; repaired on edges and spine with black leather. Brown leather doublures.
