    • On spine: Label reading "Falak al-mashḥūn" in Arabic script.
    • Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on second folio; record follows erroneous foliation.
    • Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in naskh in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; Arabic quotations vocalized and overlined in red. Extensive water damage has caused ink to spread on many leaves, but text is still very legible.
    • Origin: Text completed 8 Rabīʻ I 1244 H [18 September 1828]; this copy dated 1258 H [1842 or 3] by Najaf ʻAlī al-Anjadānī (fol. 91b).
