  • Physical description: 43-57 lines per page; written by three different hands in black ink: the first, possibly by Kyriakos Nikolaos Tzertzelēs, evident on p. [i]-111, on the epigram on p. [2] and on pp. [4]-[29]; the second hand on pp. 113-215; and the third in the last chapter of the main text and in the epigrams on p. [1]: "Tēs hēmeteras sophōtatēs kai theoprovlētou panierotētos doulos tapeinos kai peithēnion teknon Geōrgiou Skarlatou" and "Tēs hēmeteras panierou kai theodmētou psychēs eis akraiphnes eugnōmosynēs tekmērion elaxiston kata panta teknon Dēmētriou Vardaka, ho ek Metsovou." Owner's inscription on p. [1] states: "Ek tōn tou Nikolaou Tzertzelē kai tode." Pagination by the first hand, without signatures; table of contents (pp. i-ii, 1) and index (pp. 219-244). Stamps on front paste-down endpaper and on p. [i] read: "Vivliothēkē Geōrgiou V. Parapankidē." Catchwords and some marginal notes; large ornamental initial letters in the form of floral patterns. Wormhole to upper corner of first leaves; a few marginal stains. Watermark bearing the initials CF with a crown above.
