Title from fol. 1a by a later hand.
Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on the front flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
Physical description: 17 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black. Original ms. on glazed, laid Arabic paper, fol. 47-90, 117-267, 289-323, 361-422; remainder of ms. on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords; in original ms. headings are blue and there are spaces left presumably for miniatures. Original ms. is damp stained and has numerous paper repairs. Replacement leaves are in good condition, with light staining. First leaf missing.
Origin: Original leaves likely from the 17th century. Replacements completed on 28 Ramaḍān 1254 H [15 December 1838] (fol. 450a).
Binding note
Full black leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets.
