On fore edge and lower edge: "Kanz al-maṣāʼib" in Arabic script.
Physical description: 27 lines per page; written in small shikastah in black on glazed, laid European paper. Rubrication and catchwords. Topics noted on each leaf in top left corner of recto. Numerous inserts. Some staining and foxing; some leaves are detached or loose. Holograph.
Origin: Completed by the author in Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1264 H [September-October 1848] (fol. 232a).
Incipit: الحمد لله ... اما بعد چنىن گوىد بنده ذلىل محتاج بمغفرت پروردگار غنى محمد صالح بن محمد البرغانى سقطا القزوىنى مسکنا که چون اقرب قربات بعد از اداء فرائض اقامه عزاء چهار ده معصوم است
