Collection of two texts; the first is Makatabī's mas̲navī, Laylī va Majnūn, and the second is Muḥammad Sharīf's Sirāj al-munīr, a collection of moral anecdotes in imitation of Saʻdī's Gulistān, in 20 lamʻah.

  • Ms. erroneously foliated beginning with "2" on the first folio. Record follows erroneous foliation.
  • Physical description: Text 1 is 13 lines per page, in three columns; written in shikastah in black, with catchwords; third column written on a diagonal. Text 2 is 15 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq in black, with rubrication and catchwords. Texts framed in blue and gold with outer marginal gold border; columns separated by double gold lines. On thin, beige, glazed, laid Arabic paper. Light staining and smudging; in excellent condition.
  • Origin: Text 2 copied by Aḥmad Ibn Ismāʻīl (fol. 121a); part of colophon has been cut away.
