Summary note
Contains an anthology of hymns, including cherubic hymns. There are four different types of handwriting noted where the changes occur on folios [99r], [103r], [113v], and probably [116v]. On fol. [99r] the title reads: "Acsionu Duminecale" signed by Nicolae Diaconecu and on fol. [113v] "Heruvicu."

  • Physical description: 8-13 double lines per page; 8vo; written in Byzantine music notation in black ink with head-titles and lettering in red ink; large initial letters also in red ink. The first 28 pages of the first manuscript are missing; foliation by the cataloger. Stamps of the former owner are found on many pages: "Biblioteca Prof. C.N. Mateescu. R. Valcea". Penciled inscription on front paste-down and flyleaf in Romanian dated 1877.
