    Incomplete copy of the author's well-known thesaurus of medicine, containing Kitāb 2 (part), Kitāb 3 (part), Kitāb 4, and Kitāb 5 (part). Followed by extracts and recipes on fol. 242-247, and eight pages from another medical text on fol. 248-251.

    • Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on front flyleaf. Record follows erroneous foliation.
    • Physical description: 24-32 lines per page; written in naskh and nastaʻliq in black by different hands on glazed, laid Arabic paper. Same hand from fol. 97 to end. Rubrication and catchwords; a few marginal notes. Lacunae after fol. 72, 240. Marginal damp staining; paper repairs to first few and last few leaves. Incomplete at beginning.
    • Origin: Kitāb 3 completed 1 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1046 [26 April 1637] by Luṭf Allāh Kaḥḥāl va Jarrāḥ Shīrāzī (fol. 172b). Kitāb 4 completed on 15 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1046 H [10 May 1637] (fol. 195b), evidently by the same scribe. Kitāb 5 completed in Iṣfahān on 9 Muḥarram 1047 H [3 June 1637] by the same scribe (fol. 241b).
    Binding note
    Full brown leather over pasted boards with cloth spine; covers are taken from different bindings. Top cover water damaged.
