    Summary note
Incomplete anonymous commentary on al-Ṣaḥīfah al-Sajjādīyah, a collection of prayers and meditations by the Shiite Imam Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn; the incipit matches that of the anonymous text cited by Āghā Buzurg (XIII, 346, no. 1284). A note by a later hand on fol. 2a speculates that the author may be one of the following: Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-Qazvīnī, commentator on the Nahj al-balāghah; Mawlānā Badīʻ al-Harandī; or al-Qahpāʼī. However, according to Āghā Buzurg (XI, 329) the latter two are the same person, who wrote a commentary entitled Riyāz̤ al-ʻābidīn; this ms. does not contain that text. Āghā Buzurg (XIII, 352) also cites a commentary by Qazvīnī in which he states in the introduction that he wrote his Persian commentary after writing his Arabic one; this ms. does not contain that statement.
